"Okay," began the nurse again, "The doctor will be in shortly, so in the mean time, I suggest you get aquatinted with your other half. Ta-ta." With that, they heard a door close, the nurse was gone. For a long moment, neither of them dared to speak or move. They just sat there staring at themselves in the mirror.
Jordan was the first to break the silence, "Uhh..I..uh...I guess we should...start getting to know each other. My name is Jordan, but I guess you already heard that. What is your name?"
"Well," Jon was still a little tense and emotional as he continued, "..My name is Jon. I..I'm sorry I just don't understand why I was punished this way. I don't understand why they would fuse two people together."
"From what I heard, being turned into a two-headed boy or girl is actually the easiest and causes the least changes. For me, I would rather look human than be stuck..like..."
"Like that that nurse. I would hate to have to wake up every morning and look at myself in the mirror."
Both of them began laughing. Jordan said through some chuckles, "Yeah, she has the looks only a mother could love." They continued to laugh, not noticing that the doctor had finally stepped into the room.
