"It was almost six months of physical therapy," she answered. "But it was worth it. I can use my new arms better than I could use my old ones." She opened up the file and said, "Now, I'm sure that you're wondering how you're going to be transformed. Its different for everyone. Now let's see, you are going to be changed into what we call a 'Siamese Twin.'"
"A Siamese Twin?" Jon paled. This, from the sound of it, was not what he'd expected.
"Yes. You see, using a complex batch of chemicals, You will become fully attached to another person who is undergoing the same punishment, It's Usually a girl because it just makes life a little more difficult.
Jon just stared at her, wondering what the stone could possibly have been thinking when it came up with this. "It's definitely bizarre," he mumbled.
"What was that, dear?" the nurse asked sweetly. When he shook his head, she continued. "Well, this is one of our most stable procedures, even with males, so it will all be done here. Of course, you'll be sleeping during most of it, that's a side effect of the procedure, when you wake up you'll have a twin
"So where will we be attached shoulders or something?" Jon asked
"Well," she laughed, "If it all goes correctly, you'll be joined throughout your whole body, only you'll have seperate necks and heads."
Jon nodded slowly, close to tears. A man coming in and giving Jon a shot in his arm without preamble. He was distantly aware that he was falling over before everything went black.
