As Brenda chanted, an image appeared in her mind. It was the face of that girl Lisa. They were forever connected to each other, through Sydney's spirit, which existed within both of them. In a state of meditation, it's possible to mentally connect to each other, just as Brenda was doing now. She smiled, feeling the presence of Sydney in Lisa's mind. The girl could deny it all she wanted, but Sydney was a part of her and growing more prominent every minute that passed. Lisa could not escape her fate.
Lisa ran as fast as she could back to her house, all the way trying to figure out what she was going to tell her parents. She looked down at the black case in her hand. Inside was the Medallion of Zulo. With that, she could prove to them that everything that happened to her had actually happened, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to use it again, even if it would only last no more than twelve hours.
She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. The most important thing right now was to make sure her parents knew she was okay. She could think of what to tell them later.
She continued running until she made it to the front door of her house. Then she rang the doorbell.
