Jon was excited. He was going to go into heat any day now. He would have his first mating experience and he looked forward to losing his virginity to Traveller. Melanie would also be going into heat, and they hoped to both get pregnant at the same time. While Luke was already pregnant, he was farther along in his term, which Jon learned was about the same as for a human pregnancy, Jon wanted someone who he could share his experiences from beginning to end.
When he left the stable that morning to graze, a truck with a horse trailer attached drove up to the farm. "What's going on?" asked Jon.
"There's a new mare coming in," said Mark. "I didn't think we'd be getting someone in so soon after you came. Lets go meet our new sister, shall we?"
Luke, Melanie and Jon agreed and trotted over to meet their newest sister.
