By the time the transformation stopped, it was clear to Rick that he was now in the form of Sydney Williams around the age of nine or ten. Her breasts hadn't even formed yet, so that part of his new body wasn't too different than his own. However, she was a girl, so there wasn't much between his legs, and that felt weird.
He shook his head, clearing the thoughts about his new form, and made his way towards the closet. After opening it, he saw it was a lost cause. All of the clothes in the closet belonged to the teenage Sydney. The clothes from her childhood probably weren't even there. But after some quick glances at the back of the closet, he spotted a T-shirt and a pink skirt. It was crammed all the way to the back of the closet, as if Sydney wanted to make sure she could never see it. He grabbed them and put them on. It felt weird to be wearing girl's clothes, but it felt better than being naked.
"Open this door!" one of the Sydneys yelled from the hallway, as she continued to pound on the door. "It's not like you can escape!"
Rick looked down at the medallion in his hand. It was obviously a mistake to wear it. From now on, he wouldn't, unless he intended on using it to return to normal. But from what Lisa told him, he couldn't do it for another twelve hours.
He turned towards the window. Moments earlier, he saw the other Sydney standing outside, but now she was gone. Or was she? He crawled towards the window and saw her sitting in the grass. No, she was still there.
He turned back towards the bedroom door. His only way out was to go through there. Maybe he could even do it too. The Sydney in the hallway didn't know that he had changed. So she wouldn't be expecting someone a lot shorter and smaller. Rick could use that to his advantage and slip past her.
He took a deep breath and reached for the doorknob. Then he turned it.
