Rick turned and watched Brenda/Sydney approach him, holding the Medallion of Zulo in her hand, but then she stopped. "Susanne, why don't you remove his clothes. It'll make the transformation easier."
Susanne/Sydney nodded, then approached Rick. But Rick backed away. "Don't come near me," he hissed. There may have been some of Susanne still there, but that girl was not his wife. His wife wouldn't be going along with this. She'd be helping him, not harming him.
Brenda/Sydney sighed, then put the medallion down and helped out her "twin" by holding Rick in place while Susanne/Sydney removed his clothes. He tried his best to free himself from her grasp, but she seemed to be stronger than she looked. And in no time at all, he stood naked in front of them, feeling both embarrassed and scared.
"Why are you doing this? From what my daughter told me, you already have something that puts Sydney's mind into people's heads. Why change their bodies too?" He hoped for a long explanation. Anything to give Lisa more time to save him.
"Well, it's not their bodies that I'm interested in," Brenda/Sydney said. "It's their brains. The medallion changes everything about the person and that includes their brains. It leaves their minds alone, but not their brains. And Sydney's brain was very special. It made her in tune with the mystical realm."
"Mystical what?" Rick asked.
"You'll understand soon," Susanne/Sydney said, with a slight grin.
"And having more than one of Sydney only enables us to have more focus and control of that gift. Think of it as a way to amplify what Sydney already had."
"So you what? All share a mind or something?" Rick quickly looked around the room. Where was Lisa? Couldn't she have found a way in by now?
"No, we have our own minds, with the influence of Sydney's, of course," Brenda/Sydney said, causing Susanne/Sydney to smile. "But when we enter a meditative state, our minds become linked and become even more powerful than Sydney's could ever be alone. That's why we need more Sydneys. We need more versions of her brain." She smiled. "Soon you'll understand. And you'll agree with me and our cause."
Susanne/Sydney nodded. "You will."
Brenda/Sydney picked up the Medallion of Zulo again and approached Rick.
Where the hell was Lisa?
"Wait. Uh ... do you know about ... um ..." He turned, trying to think of something. Anything, to buy himself more time.
"Are you trying to stall?" Susanne/Sydney asked. "It's so cute when you do that. But if you're hoping that our daughter comes to our rescue ..."
"She's not your daughter," Rick snapped at her. "Not anymore."
"Oh, she'll always be my daughter, Rick. Even in my current state, I'm still Susanne. It's just that I'm so much more now. Don't you want to be more than you are?"
"Just get the hell away from me."
Susanne/Sydney looked a little confused by Rick's reaction, but she did as he asked anyway. It didn't matter anyhow. Soon Rick would be Sydney and he would understand.
