Jon held the stone and said "I wish Karyn was here and she had a power to change me however she wants to. Also, I wish that anything changed by Karyn's power would return to normal after 48 hours." He was glad that he added that last bit. This was all just for experimentation. He didn't want it to last the rest of his life.
