Jon looked down at his TG story and smiled. The plot of the story involved an unsuspecting teenage, peasant, boy who gets kidnapped by a witch and turned into a princess. The story ends with a handsome knight rescuing her after they fall in love.
Jon opened his eyes and found he was no longer in his room. Instead he was outside in what looked like a European forest during summer. He looked down at himself and saw he was wearing stereotypical fantasy garb and holding a primitive hoe. He turned his head a saw a picturesque cottage.
Jon stood there idly, taking in the situation when a voice snapped him out of it.
"Bartholomew!" a female voice called, "What do you think you're doing standing there! Go to the well and get some water!"
The woman was the most likely his characters Mother.
"Yes," Jon stumbled, "at once!"
Jon started off in to the woods a bucket in his hand.
"Well," he thought, "This is how the story starts..."
