The concrete floor of the long empty hallway felt cold on Jon's bare feet. He padded along, listening for anyone or anything, occasionally calling out, but was soon convinced that he was totally alone. Every once and a while he would come to a door with a hand-print reader, each one locked. With every passing minute of solitude, Jon felt more and more nervous.
What had happened to everybody else? When the plane had landed there had been lots of people milling about, men arriving to engage in their fantasies, women ready to service the men. Where had they gone? Jon called out again. The only response was his echo boucing off the concrete.
The hallway began to twist and turn, but luckily it didn't branch off. Jon knew he could always backtrack to the showers if he had to just by following the hallway back, but losing sight of where he came from was a bit disconcerting.
Just as he was thinking about turning around, the hallway turned one more time and he came to the end of it. There was a large red oak door standing in front of him with no hand print reader. He timidly reached for the handle and softly turned it to the right. To his surprise it clicked open! Excited and nervous Jon pulled the door toward him, stepped through and found himself...
