Bethany reached down and shook her daughter, hoping it would wake her, but it didn't. She still continued to stare at the ceiling in that unsettling trance she was in.
What was she going to do? Should she call the police? Or maybe get Karyn to the hospital? She turned around, about to leave the bedroom, when suddenly she thought she heard something coming from the cellphone. She put it up to her ear again. "Hello? Is anyone there?" she asked again. When she heard nothing, she decided to end the call, but when she hit the "cancel" button, nothing happened. For some reason, she couldn't disconnect the call.
Then she heard that noise again, the one coming from the cellphone that she thought she heard before. She put the phone up to her ear for the third (and last) time. "If someone's there, tell me," she said.
Without warning, she heard an odd beeping sound and suddenly everything around her went dark.
Mr. Bond was sitting at his desk, typing something on his computer, when suddenly the reality of his classroom shifted again. This happened not too long ago when Karyn entered the game. And now, he could feel the new participant. He smiled, knowing who it was: Bethany Black, Karyn's 38-year old mother. He really only enjoyed subjecting his torture and humiliation to men, but he had no qualms about doing the same to women ... especially women who were so easy to humiliate.
Jon (now Kimberly) was too far into the game to remember clearly what was wished, but Mr. Bond (the science teacher, in the game) was the spirit that Jon wished would inhabit his house. And per the wish, Mr. Bond loved to imprison men and subject them to tests by transforming them into women and also humiliating them. Jon might have assumed that the spirit would be female, but this was not the case. Regardless, Jon wished up Mr. Bond, and Mr. Bond intended on humiliating Jon (now Kimberly) as much as he could as long as he could. And making Karyn and Bethany part of the game would only further his goals.
He smiled, at this new turn-of-events, then thought of the best ways to humiliate his newest player.
When the light returned, Bethany looked around and saw that she was in a high school. But it wasn't her daughter's high school. She was somewhere else.
Where was she and how did she get here? What was going on?
