Bob watched the pre-game cinematic. It seemed to take place in a modern universe, in a fictitious city called Love City. It was a place full of men and women of all kinds who were looking for romance. Fortunately, it didn't look too mushy - rather, it looked like a date simulator with gratuitous sexuality and even some action-adventure themes.
Awesome, he thought. He could make super hot Victoria act out all his fantasies. A shot of two girls kissing implied that lesbianism was allowed. He thought about finding some hot chick for Victoria to make out with. Or maybe he'd just stick with a boy. After all, he could imagine himself in that boy's position, eagerly making out with Denise Milani...
Jon tried to move. He really did. But he was frozen, his body floating in some dark abyss. He couldn't move a muscle, even to breathe. Somehow he didn't die.
After a time passed that might as well have been a day, he felt himself... shift. His body compacted, becoming smaller, thinner, while other parts grew. He felt his maleness vanish and Jon became female.
Well, that was that. She was a woman. That, however, wasn't the end of the changes. Her body continued to shift around and her breasts grew as her hair lengthened. It was as if she was being molded by an artist who didn't know for sure what they wanted her to look like.
Wait, she thought. That's it! She remembered being sucked into a PC game. Someone was playing the game, changing her appearance as if she was an avatar for some character.
I guess I'll have to play this game, she thought. Fortunately, she had a lot of experience with video games. She knew all the cliches, a lot of common glitches, and knew enough strategy to really have an advantage.
Finally, the changes stopped. Jon was glad, but was aware that the game was probably going to start soon. She decided to review game themes, but strangely couldn't remember what she'd thought of only moments before.
What? No! Try as she might, Victoria just could not remember. Could there have been mental changes? Victoria wondered.
Before she could consider the matter thoroughly, the world returned around her. A world, rather. She was standing in a small apartment, one she knew to be hers. She felt refreshed and knew that today was going to be awesome
