Jon had never felt so terrible in his entire life. He knew that he looked terrible (if that was possible in this hot body) with is mascara running down his cheeks from the tears he couldn't stop, but he didn't care. He had only made it two blocks from Karyn's house before he had to pull over and cry about what he had done.
He had broken Karyn's heart.
Sure, it was Sarah's command that had made him do it, but having to witness it was twice as bad as he had imagined.
He had tried to make it quick, like pulling off a band-aid. He pulled into her driveway, stepped out of the pink sports car. The doorbell had felt strange in the new body, his well manicured nails much longer than he was used to. When Karyn, his best friend had answered the door he jumped right into it.
"Hi Karyn."
"Um, hi, do I know you?"
Jon paused. If only he were able to answer honestly. "No, but you will. I'm Jon's new girlfriend, um, Josie. I just wanted to come over and introduce myself since I'm going to be around for a while."
At first Karyn didn't do anything. She just stood there, staring, eyes moving up and down, taking in every inch of the amazingly hot woman who stood before her. Then the waterworks started. It began with a tear, then another, then a sob, then a wail.
Jon just stood there and watched. The most he could mutter before the door was slammed on his face was, "Um..."
Minutes later, sitting in the car that Sarah had given him, the pain of seeing Karyn so hurt washed over him anew. Again the tears started, leaving him alone in the Lamborgini, crying.
It took over an hour for Jon to make it home, hoping that Sarah would have gotten bored and gone home, not bothering to wait for him. Unfortunately for him, this wasn't his day.
