"I suppose I'm not allowed to make more than one clone?" Sarah asked.
"Why?" asked Jon. "If its a good reason, I suppose that I could let you make more than one, for the right price, of course."
Sarah sighed and rolled her eyes. "I'd like a clone of myself," said Sarah. "The girls I hang with are getting tiresome. I want to make a new clique, composed entirely of me. I'd make a much better friend than those other girls. I'd always agree with me, I'd never talk back, and I could be the entire cheerleading team. Those other girls are totally dragging me down."
Jon thought about it. After all, if one Sarah was a bitch, what would an entire bitch squad of Sarah's be like. On the other hand, Sarah was rich. Jon could charge her a per-clone price. Finally he made a decision.
"All right," Jon said. "I'll let you make as many clones as you want. But there are two conditions. Firstly, the first one will be free, but after that, you'll have to pay me for each clone that you want. Secondly, I want to insert a personality trait into their personalities that causes them to recognize me as the one who cloned them and prevent them from being bitches towards me. Other than that, they can be any way that you want them."
"All right," Sarah agreed. "I want ten clones that will be exactly like me. They will like me, agree with me and do everything I say." She took out her checkbook and asked, "So, how much will my new friends cost me?"
