The next day Jon and her clone were sitting at a lunch table with Karyn.
"So it's another crazy magic stone incident," explained Jon. "Katie wants to go out with one of us. We want to go out with her. But we're already going out with each other, and we're doing things with each other that we never got to do when we were with Katie. To top it off, we went out with her before but she doesn't remember that because we changed reality, and once we change reality back, she won't remember anything that happens now. Maybe."
"I don't know, Jon," said Karyn. "Have you tried talking to your parents?"
"That's not a good idea," said Jonnie. "They don't know about the magic stone, so we have to leave out the part about the reality changes. They also don't know I'm pregnant."
"Maybe you should tell them."
"I think we already did, sort of. Once reality changes back and we were guys for a couple of months instead of girls, I bet we told them sometime during that period. It beats having to tell them ourselves, anyway, and if it goes wrong we can wish it away."
"Sheesh, you're still calling yourself a guy. And I thought you're trying to be ethical. You're going to wish fake memories?"
"It would be just to replace other fake memories."
"Point taken."
"Anyway," said Jon, "got any suggestions? What would you do?"
