Jon (and therefore Jonnie) never really had sat down and figured in detail all the things that could change in history when making a wish. The cloning machine was something Jon had just received, so it probably didn't affect his life much. And he didn't make too many big wishes that could change history.
But now... Jon was a girl. The lesbian sex was probably the easiest part. Jon and Jonnie, in bed, with Jonnie teaching Jon all that she had discovered about how a female body works in the past few months. Mutual masturbation... and doing it with your clone is a lot closer to normal masturbation. Dildos. Being aroused as a girl....
"Let's see..." muttered Jonnie afterwards as they lay snuggled with each other. "How long should we be like this. A week? Maybe a month. We could make it six months and skip the pregnancy."
"I don't care," replied Jon.
Jonnie sighed. She had forgotten that Jon had wished not to mind being a girl. Teasing her with the possibility of not changing back didn't work well at all. "Never mind," she said. "But it should be long enough that we know what life is like."
They both got dressed, and quickly wished themselves clean and non-sweaty. Then Jon noticed something and pointed to a photograph on a desk. "Hey, Jonnie, look at that."
"What?" She looked where Jon was pointing and saw that Jon, as a girl, had her arm around Joseph and they seemed to have been photographed at a party, considering the background. There wasn't anything indecent but it made her wonder. "Wait a minute... We're flirting with him? Maybe even dating him?"
"No way to tell," said Jon. I mean he's a friend and all that, but I'm not gay. "She paused and corrected herself. "Lesbian, maybe, but not a gay guy." She turned to face the stone, now just lying on a desk. "I ought to just use the stone to find out..."
"Or read some old text messages," said Jonnie. "Or email. Or see if there are any dates marked on our calendar. I mean dating dates, not calendar dates."
"All right." Jon touched the keyboard on her computer and the screen lit up. She brought up her email program and saw the messages... addressed to Jonnie. "This is yours, I think. No, wait..."
Jonnie had already gotten right behind Jon and was reading over her shoulder. "This is strange. Okay, we should have expected this. It's not me, it's you. You're not Jon, you're Jonnie." Only there was a line about two Jonnies. "In fact, we're both Jonnie."
"How would we tell each other apart?"
"Sarah has no problem doing it," replied Jonnie.
"But they're not the same age and they have middle names," said Jon.
"Well, we shouldn't have any problem talking about each other. Every time we use a name it has to be the other one. I guess if someone else wants to talk about us it has to be "the clone" or "the first one" or "the original" or "the two Jonnies". I wonder what our driver licenses say."
"We wished that we wouldn't have problems getting those, remember? They could very well have the same name on them."
"Forget it," said Jonnie. "Unless we've got a date today we can worry about it tomorrow."
"She what?" said Sarah.
"Vanished," replied her younger clone. "Joey vanished right in front of me. Oh, there's no mystery. It was Jon. I just wonder how long we have to wait for her to come back...."
