Jon thought of all the things he could do. Maybe make himself a girlfriend who looked like Sarah or something like that.
But in fact, the first thing that Jon decided to use the cloning machine for wasn't one of those perverted fantasies, at least not in the normal sense.
Jon was an only child (at least in this branch) and sometimes wondered what it would be like to not be an only child. If he created a clone, it would like having a new member of the family. Sort of like having a sibling, in fact... like having a twin brother if they were identical, but if not, like a younger brother. Or sister, for that matter.
"Cloning machine, can you hear me?" he asked.
"Working..." replied the machine.
