"Myra? What are you doing in here? Don't you have Chess Club right now? This is the boys' bathroom, anyway." Jon - Myra now, apparently - looked in the doorway to see Myron, one of the people she'd swapped with. "Ugh! Get out of here! There's such a thing as privacy, you know!" A snotty-sounding female voice came from Myra, and s/he immediately felt ashamed for being so rude.
"Sorry, Myron. I'm, um, not in the mood for chess today. Some other time, maybe... I dunno..." She shuffled out past him, head bowed, and looked around. "So, uh, Myra... what are you doing tonight?" A voice came from behind her, and she let out a small squeak, turning around. Standing behind her was a different nerd, looking as if he wanted to melt into the ground and disappear. She felt a momentary flash of anger; how dare this GEEK ask her out! She stopped herself from yelling at him just because she didn't want to draw attention to herself, being looked at always made her nervous.
"I'm swamped with... um... with homework all night. Tomorrow, maybe... or, um... the day after." She hurried away, not knowing where she was going, and just kept walking until the bell rang to go to class. A quick glance at her schedule showed "AP Physics." Inside, Jon was panicking; he failed regular Physics! Myra seemed sure of herself, though, and went into the classroom far more proudly than Jon had ever been at all. The teacher seemed happy to call on her for everything, and the correct answers came out almost without thinking. She sneered at the other students as they got questions wrong, and giggled behind a hand.
Class ended, and she began to walk home, unsure of whether it actually was home anymore...
