"Tonight, police are investigating two people found sleeping at the local ice rink. Police, who entered the building looking for two teenage employees who were reported to be trapped there by flood waters, found the man and woman sleeping in an executive suite.
A spokesman stated that the man, who fingerprints identified as Mark Phelps, was listed as AWOL from the Marines three weeks ago. The woman, fingerprinted as Margret O'Malley, an Irish national who had been missing for four months, was originally part of a touring dance company that performed at the rink last Christmas. She was being held on an immigration violation.
Neither is suspected in the strange disappearance of the two workers at the ice rink. It is suspected the pair tried to get home and may have drowned in the floodwaters..."
