Jon waddled down to the kitchen. He was craving something, but he wasn't sure what. He opened up the fridge and almost automatically went for the pickles. Opening up the freezer found some Rocky Road ice cream. That sounded wonderful to Jon. It wasn't until that he had finished half of it that he realized what he was eating. Pickles and ice cream? thought Jon. Isn't this the stereotypical pregnant woman's cravings? I didn't think that combination actually happened in real life.
Just then Jon's mother, Susan came in. "There you are, Jon," she said. Placing her hand on Jon's pregnant belly, she asked, "How's the baby doing?"
"Moving around a lot," said Jon. It was true and the kicking sensation was the strangest thing that he had ever experienced. It also felt wonderful for some reason.
"Pickles and ice cream, huh?" asked Susan. "I remember eating that all the time when I was pregnant with you. Just remember to eat healthy. You are eating for two now."
"I will," said Jon, placing his hands on his expanding stomach. After his mother left, Jon quickly made a wish. "I wish I knew how I got pregnant, how I was supposed to give birth and what will happen to my baby when I do." The stone flashed and Jon got his answer.
