"I wish that for one month I would think that I was Karyn, and Karyn thought she was my mother, meaning her mother Bethany." The stone glowed, causing Jon to close his eyes.
When he opened them, he looked down at himself in shock, seeing that he had Jon's body. "What happened?" he asked aloud. But he knew full well what had happened. Jon probably used the stone on him. But why would he turn him into his identical twin?
And why was he at Jon's house? The last thing he remembered, he was in his room, trying to think of a way to reverse that stupid wish he made that morning.
And speaking of Jon, where was he?
At the same time, Karyn was in her bedroom. It felt like something was in her eyes, so she shut them. And when her eyes opened, she wondered why she was in her daughter's room. She stood up from Karyn's bed and saw herself in the mirror. "What happened to me? I ... I look like I did when I was in high school," she said, not quite believing that this was happening. Since there's an obvious family resemblance, she thought that she had grown younger.
Thanks to Jon's wish, Karyn thought that Jon was her daughter, so she wouldn't recognize Karyn.
