When the light receded, Jon looked around his room and at himself. He looked no different, but his room had definately changed.
The walls, which had once been a dark blue, were now bright pink. The decorations had changed as well, instead of posters of rock bands and pretty actresses, there were those of ballerinas and unicorns. His bed was missing, too. In its place, Jon saw a crib.
Along the other wall, Jon saw a dresser with a blue cushion-type thing on top, which he assumed was a changing table, that is, if he wore diapers. He decided to investigate the drawers of the dresser.
He slid the top drawer open. It was very long and fairly deem. Inside, Jon saw endless packages of diapers and many dresses and outfits styled for a baby girl. He slid the drawer closed.
He slid open the second drawer, which was just as long and deep as the first. Inside this drawer, instead of baby clothes and diapers, Jon saw packages of training pants, intended for girls going through potty training, and clothes that matched. He closed the drawer.
In the third (and bottom) drawer, which matched the previous two in volume, Jon found, not diapers and clothes for a baby, nor supplies for a potty-training toddler, but panties and clothes, still for a young girl, but now for a girl around 6 or 7.
"I guess I have these because I didn't specify what age I wanted to be treated as. It might be fun to have some choices."
As Jon closed this drawer, he heard the door open. He looked up to see his mother. Her eyes surveyed Jon.
"Sweetie," she asked, "why are you wearing that thing?" She gestured to his clothes. "Here, honey pie, let me change you out of that."
Before Jon could say anything, his mother lifted him easily onto the changing table and stripped off Jon's jeans, t-shirt, and boxers, throwing them in the trash can beside the dresser.
