Suddenly, he was lifted into the air by a pair of hands. He looked around and saw Karyn. She looked like she was in her mid-twenties, but it definitely was Karyn.
"I'm so glad that you wanted to be my daughter, Jon," Karyn said. "I've always wanted to know what it was like to be a mother before I decide if I want to be one or not. And now, thanks to your wish, I can."
She reached down and picked up the stone, which was sitting on the floor. "Except that there's one problem. You may look like a 3-year old girl, but I know that that there's a 16-year old boy in your head. I wish that for the next two months you would forget everything about being Jon and think that you really are my daughter." The stone glowed.
The girl looked up. "Mommy, can I go play with my dollies?"
"Sure, honey." Karyn smiled.
