Jon closed his eyes.When he opened them he was someplace else.He was in a Starbucks.He was with some cheerleaders.He was dressed in one of their uniforms.He had a small purse over his shoulder.No one looked at him strangely or laughed.They didn't see a boy in drag.They saw a beautiful girl.He smiled realizing that his wish to live Sarah Macmillan's life had come true.The girl at the counter handed Jon a latte.Reaching for it Jon saw his fingernails had pink nailpolish on them.Jon went outside and sat at a table with Sarah's friends.He crossed his legs.Sarah's cellphone rang.Jon took it out of his purse and answered it.It was Biff, the captain of the football team and Sarah's boyfriend.He wanted to know where she was.Jon told him.He said he would meet him there.
