Karyn and Athena left Jon's home, walking silently next to eachother.
Athena was lost in thoughts about her next wish. She glanced at Karyn walking next to her, Athena's stubby tail was wagging furiously under her skirt. Just think of the possibilities.
Unaware of Athena's stare Karyn was lost in her own thoughts. She couldn't help but feel that Jon was hiding something. She knew him long enough and his answer was so generic. Maybe she should've asked further.
"Did Jon seem different to you?" Karyn broke the silence.
Athena blinked. "Well he was agitated, but I think that will go away once he gets used to his tail." She shrugged.
"Get used to the tail? Earth to Athena. We are going to wish it away remember." Karyn sighed. "You've also been acting so weird today. Are you on your period or something?"
Athena blushed. "No, I'm not. I mean not on my period and I'm not acting weird."
Karyn appeared to be studying Athena's face. She felt the blush intensify and her tail stopped wagging. Was Karyn on to her?
"Do you have the stone?" Karyn asked her voice level.
"No! What gave you that idea? If I did why wouldn't I have given it to Jon?"
"You seemed rather happy to see a tail."
"Are you calling me a liar?!"
Karyn sighed. "Sorry, you're right. I believe you." But I'm keeping my eye on you she added mentally.
Athena felt herself deflate as the breath she had been holding escaped her.
They walked further in silence finally coming to the point where their paths would diverge.
"Well, see you tomorrow morning." Karyn gave Athena a hug and walked off. Athena turned around and started walking in the direction of her house. After a few steps she stopped and turned around again. She looked at Karyn walking away.
One hand slowly slid to her panties as her tail went wild under her skirt. The stone in her other hand she made her wish. "I wish..."
