As Jon left his room, he heard Zoe call up from downstairs, "Hey, Jon. Your girlfriends are here."
Girlfriends? Jon thought. The stone worked fast. Jon heard Zoe telling the unidentified girlfriends that Jon was upstairs. He heard two voices arguing as they climbed the stairs. Both of them sounded familiar.
"Come on," the first voice said. "You know Wednesday is my day with Jon. Teusday is your day."
"I didn't get any real make-out time with Jon last night," the second voice said. "We were studying for the history test. And, besides, you were there too, studying like us. I could tell you were trying to horn in on any 'real' time we would have had afterwards. If you can come over on my nights, I can come over on yours. Its not like we haven't done it before when school interferes with our relationship. And we both like watching Jon make out with each other, so there."
"Its not the same," the first girl mumbled as they got to the top of the stairs. Jon was suprised at who he saw; it was not a combination he would have normally imagined.
