The stone flashed, indicating that Jon's wish had been granted. Jon left his room to see what had changed. Because dinner was just about ready, Jon went to the kitchen, figuring that with his family gathering to eat, that would be a good opportunity to see how his own family had changed. It would be wierd to see his dad married to two women. He wasn't dissappointed when he entered the kitchen.
Two women were preparing dinner. One was his mother, the other was Karyn's. That could only mean that Karyn, his best friend, was now his half sister! How would this change his relationship with her. He would soon find out, as the rest of his family sat down at the table: his dad, brothers Matt and Mikey, his sister Zoe and his new half-sister Karyn. His dad kissed his two wives and said, "How're my favorite girls?"
"Wonderful," said Karyn's mom as the two of them snuggled close to their husband. "We're in the mood for a little 'fun' tonight, if you're willing."
Jon's dad kissed them again. "I'm always in the mood for you two."
Dinner started and the conversation was similar to any conversation that had gone on over any other meal. It was wierd hearing Karyn call his dad 'Dad' and hearing her mother call his dad 'Honey.'
After dinner, Jon's dad and moms went up to their room. They closed the door and Jon could hear them talking. Wondering how the interpersonal relationships of a polygamous family would work, he decided to listen in to their conversation.
