A gust of wind suddenly filled the room, even though the window was closed. Paying no mind, Jon stood up and started to leave the bathroom. He caught sight of himself in the mirror as he opened the door, but he didn't notice anything majorly different yet.
Jon headed over to his room and flopped onto his bed, turning on the TV lazily. He flipped through the channels and, finding nothing worth watching, grabbed a book from his bedside table and started to read.
He must have really gotten into the book, because the next thing he knew, he heard his mother calling up the stairs for him to come down to dinner. Jon hopped off his bed and stumbled slightly. As he headed for the door, he caught sight of himself in the mirror on his dresser. As of that morning, he saw the top of his head almost level with the top of the mirror. Now, he was several inches from the top. He was definately growing shorter. He thought his nose and chin might be less pronounced, now, too. He left his room and went downstairs to the dinner table.
