The trio walked to the park that Jon and Karyn loved to play at. It was an outdoor area with plenty of grass, trees and bushes to walk around in and have a private conversation.
"You wished women were more plentiful by making it so there were more females per birth in humans?" Karyn scrunched her face. "That's so weird and... why? Were you thinking or hoping for something perverted?" Karyn was wondering.
"You both seem to ask me that question." Jon grew weary.
"You're a horny teenage boy." Katie smiled. Her hand holding Jon's on her side.
"And after dating you for a while we've gotten a feel for how a teenage boy thinks." Karyn took Jon's other hand. Jon noticed it and let go of both of them and pulled them closer by reaching around their hips and holding them close to him possessively. They each blushed but obviously relished in being in his arms at either side of him. "Or maybe it's just you?"
"Jon made another wish." Katie continued. "He wished for us to be his girlfriends."
"We weren't dating before?" Karyn looked up in surprise at Jon.
"I didn't find the courage to change our relationship from best friends to something more romantic." Jon admitted.
"You just wished for a girlfriend instead of having the balls to ask us out?" Karyn shook her head at Jon. "Well, I've got to thank your grandfather for giving us to you. Otherwise we wouldn't have any boyfriend." She chuckled. Jon's cheeks were burning, mostly because she was right. She pulled Jon's face towards hers and kissed him on the lips with a blush. "Thanks for making the wish."
"Your welcome."
Kate was snickering to the side.
"What?" Karyn eyed her suspiciously.
"You just kissed him for the first time." She laughed out loud. Karyn's face grew pale.
"Damnit!" Karyn shouted out. "That was supposed to be special. I-Imean it was special the first time around." She grit her teeth. "This is confusing.
"I'll make it less confusing." Jon pulled out the stone. "I wish that I knew things about how the world has changed as I come across, or think of them. This way I know both how the world used to be and how the world is now."
The stone flashed and Jon gave a satisfied grin before placing it back inside his pocket.
