"Thank you," John said, before stepping out of the pizza joint. It took some convincing (okay, a lot of convincing), but he finally got the home address of the guy who delivered pizza to Silvia the previous night. He lived in an apartment complex on the other side of town.
John headed back to his car, then drove as quickly as he could to the address written down on the slip of paper in his hand. When he arrived, he headed up to the second floor, hoping that the pizza delivery boy, a young man named Tom Jarnigan, was home. He was feeling quite optimistic. He had found who took the Medallion of Zulo and now he was finally going to get it back. He was already planning in his head how he was going to turn Silvia back to normal ... or at least try. After all, it was broken. Maybe it wouldn't work at all. But he had to stay optimistic. He had to believe that tracking down the medallion was worth all his time and effort.
Once he got to Tom's apartment door, he knocked and waited for a reply.
