Thinking quickly, Jon knocked on Zoe's bedroom door, intent on getting the stone back.
"Who is it?" asked Zoe, from inside.
"It's Jon."
Then Karyn said something to Zoe. "You're not going to let that freak in here, are you?"
"He's not a freak, Karyn. He's my brother. You know, I wish you'd treat him better."
Jon glanced down and saw a bright light coming from beneath the door and then Zoe said "Oops, I didn't mean to wish anything."
Jon waited a few seconds and then Zoe said "Come on in, Jon."
He opened the door and walked in.
