The thought of going through the same talk as we did every day made me hesitate to enter the kitchen. The same words would be said and the same things would happen. For some reason I longed for something else this morning. Perhaps a burger or a salad to break through this pattern that I experienced every day. I picked up my shoes, shouted to my mother I would be out and I walked right through the door.
It was a good idea of me to go out I thought as I took in a deep breath of fresh air. Better to be outside than stay stuffed inside my boring old room, doing the same boring old things. The burger joint was a half hour walking. Enough time for me to set my mind straight. I had a steady pace as I looked around myself. The same people coming out of their houses, getting into their cars to get ready for work or bring their children to school. Shops opening up, hoping to attract the same customers they depend upon. Reflecting upon that, should I be happy for my life? I was not bad in something in particular, but not good in anything special. Was that also a talent to be had that would make me stand out from the rest of the crowd?
At that moment a woman left the coffee shop I just passed. Without taking a look she just bumped into me. The question is: did my power activated when I bumped into her?
