Sarah stopped in her tracks as she was hopping down the cobblestone steps out of the cabin. Her face deflated upon seeing Jon, and it quickly grew into a frown.
"What the hell is a loser like you doing here?" She sighed. "They should have some basic attractive standards for letting people come here."
"Or how bitchy they are." Jon snarked back. Sarah squinted at him, as if her eyes could spit out daggers.
"Whatever. Stay away from me." Sarah scoffed at him as she passed him.
"Why did you come here?" Jon wondered aloud.
"To get something else other than missionary, with a big sweaty lug pinning me down." Sarah made it clear that she was talking about more than just Biff Meadows. Her lips curled in a smile as she had gotten much more action than Jon, who she assumed was a virgin. Guys were always touchier when it came to that.
"But not so different that you would want to be with me." Jon made it clear from his tone that he thought she was a brat.
"Man, you're just asking for the entire football team to kick your ass the rest of the year." She crossed her arms. Not only did Jon not appear to be phased by her, but he was responding back with scathing attitude.
To Jon this was because the reality was warped, and there was always the stone to erase everything that happened here.
It was clear that what Jon was getting to her. She's not used to this sort of thing being said by a guy. Girls scathing her didn't upset her, they were just jealous and not worth her time. A boy doing it was another thing. Especially since all they wanted to do was drool and fawn over her. Jon mused. He had heard Karyn bitch his ear off trying to understand her or why guys ogled her all the time. He felt like he knew her better than her boyfriend did with everything he learned from Karyn.
"Then you'll go back to being pushed down again and again by all those meatheads." Jon smiled. "I bet you can't wait."
She sped off to the lake, too pissed off to say anything more. Her face was red and her arms were straight out beside her hips. How dare he talk to her that way? She splashed around for a while thinking about it and grew more frustrated with herself as time went. Screw that guy, Jim or Jake... whomever that nobody was.
