"... my next door neighbor."
The rock flashed.
Jon knew the field next to Karyn's house was empty so he quickly ran to his window to see what would happen. A little house with a little red car appeared out of nowhere.
Jon (still in Karyn's body) brushed his hair out of his eyes and stared out the window. Suddenly he saw the front door open. A woman, about 29 years old stepped out. She was wearing a bikini top and a tight skirt. Jon saw that she was talking on her cell phone so he cracked open the window to listen in on her conversation.
"Calm down Roger baby, I'll be there in a minute. I'm running late. Besides, the club doesn't open until 6 anyway..."
Jon hid behind his curtains. The woman jumped into her red car and backed out of the driveway.
"...yeah Roger, baby! I'm gonna do the cheerleader routine tonight. I'm on my way. See ya soon."
Jon watched as she sped away down the road. Could that woman be Karyn? Jon realized he hadn't been very specific with his wish. Maybe Karyn was now older and has lived an entirely different life? Would she remember Jon and the rock from her past? Would she recognize her old body? Jon decided to follow her and find out.
