Damian was the school outcast, a quiet, shy emo boy who kept to himself and tried to keep out of everyone's way. Almost everyone looked down on him and Jon and Jack felt bad for him. He'd only moved into the town a year and a half ago and had yet to make any friends - most people shunned him, and those that didn't for the most part treated him neutrally at best.
Ever since they'd laid eyes on him, the twins had been in love, but were wary of revealing their feelings because they didn't know if he was into them or not. Instead they'd spent the last year and a half looking out for him from a friendly point of view and had even been able to build a casual friendship with him. Last week he'd come out to them, confessing that he was gay and had been hiding that fact from everyone since he arrived at school, terrified that it'd make everyone bully him even more than they did anyway. He'd been bowled over with shock when they asked him out, and had said yes without hesitation.
He'd still been scared though, so they'd arranged to have the date here under the guise of a study meet. Jon and Jack's parents were going away for the weekend, their brother Mikey was having a sleepover at his friend Sam's house and when they told Zoe about their date she'd agreed to go out for the evening to give them privacy, promising to keep Damian's secret.
