Athena turned the corner and ran into Thomas a friend of Nadine's and an avid church go'er.
Thomas- "Oh great, my lord is testing me by sending me a demon worshiper in my time of need, well it seems I must do what I can to save this lost soul."
Athena thought to herself Great another nut job trying to tempt me onto the path of some religious cult, why can't I just be left alone for One week
Thomas- "Demon girl I propose a random swap and let the lord decide our fates."

Athena is semi unaffected by the wish due to the pendant leaving her no desire to trade and therefore no idea what she has just agreed upon
