Not long after, Jon and Karyn lay in Jon's bed enjoying the afterglow of their lovemaking. Feeling the need for a drink, Jon tried to get up. Unfortunately, he forgot to make Karyn get up too, and the two fell painfully to the ground. As they got up from the floor, Jon thought about the problem of needing to signal Karyn whenever he wanted to move and the problem of his being off balance. "Karyn," Jon said, "I think we need to make an adjustment so things like this don't happen."
"What do you suggest?" Karyn asked.
"Well," Jon began, "First, I want to create some sort of an instinctual bond between us that helps us act as one."
"Sounds good," Karyn answered. "Wish away!"
"Okay, here goes," Jon said. "I wish that Karyn would instinctually know what I intend to do the moment I know it, and that she will be able to react quickly enough that we move in sync with each other.
Karyn blinked as the stone flashed, and she said, "Whoa! I can sense you like never before! I can feel everything you do almost before you do it. This is cool!"
"Glad you like it," Jon answered. "Now, I also need to do something about the balance, and I think I have an idea both of us are going to like a lot for that one." Seeing Karyn waiting expectantly, Jon continued. "I want to make another girl my left hand. And, seeing as we both detest Sarah McMillian, I was thinking of making her that hand."
"What!?!?" Karyn interrupted. "Why in the world would you want to be joined permanently to that bitch!?!?"
"Let me finish," Jon smiled as he continued. "You know how my right hand is normally dominant over my left? Well, this is what I'm thinking: Sarah is my left hand. She doesn't mind being my hand, just like you, but unlike you, she is unable to disagree with us or disobey us in any way. She'll be like you, but both of us will have much more control over her. Also, people will think that you have always been my hand and that it makes both of us really cool. However, I'll wish that people will remember Sarah as she was and believe that some sort of an accident made her into my hand. She'll be laughed at for being made a body part of someone she despised!"
"I love it! Lets do it," Karyn giggled.
