Jon and his "parents" walked downstairs just in time to see Zoe walk in.
"Mom?" Zoe asked. "How did you get in here so fast?"
"Uh, what do you mean ... sweetie?" she asked.
Jon ran to the window and saw his mom out watering the flowers. Just because Karyn turned into his parents, it didn't mean his real parents didn't still exist.
"I wish that until I get Karyn back to normal, my real parents would think that they're ... uh ..." He tried to think of something, but as he thought, his sister Zoe began hovering around him. "Zoe! Do you mind? I'm ..." He stopped suddenly, feeling the stone grow warm in his hand.
"I just wanted to see what you were looking at," Zoe said, annoyed. "Why do you always have to be such a fucking jerk?"
"Oh shit, not again," Jon breathed, as he realized what he had done.
