Keith nervously stepped out of the taxi and entered the hotel lobby. His whole world had suddenly been changed, and he had no idea what to do, so he figured that he’d check into his hotel and then go and find someone from the team. Maybe they would know what was going on.
The jeans that Keith had suddenly found himself wearing were a little loose, even with the belt, so he pulled them up a little as he grabbed his suitcase. Walking over to the reception desk, Keith noticed that the receptionist was actually a man, although he dressed like a woman.
The man had shoulder length blonde hair and wore a white blouse of which the top couple of buttons were undone, showing off his impressive cleavage. Keith found himself—or rather, herself now—staring at the man’s chest.
The man noticed Keith staring and giggled slightly, causing Keith to blush a little and divert her attention.
“Like, welcome to the Hilton,” he said in a high pitched, bubbly voice.
A startled Keith blinked and then recovered. “Oh, um, hi,” she said, not liking the sound of her new voice. "I’d like to check in, please. I’m Keith, Keith Tremblay.” The receptionist nodded and started to type into his computer, tucking his hair behind his ear as he did so.
After a few moments, the man stopped and frowned. Looking up at Keith though, he flashed a warm smile.
“I’m sorry ma’am, but we have no record of a Keith Tremblay.” The man had paused at the mention of Keith, clearly finding it odd that a woman would have that name. “We do have a Kath Tremblay, though," He said looking at the records. “It says here that she listed as a member of the Colorado Avalanche.”
Keith, or rather, Kath, blinked. She put two and two together and figured that that must be her new name. She coughed and cleared her throat.
“Um, yes. That’s me,” she said, shaking her head. “I’m sorry, there must have been some sort of mix up.” The man nodded in understanding as he began to type some more.
“It’s quite alright, ma’am.” He handed Kath a room key. “Now your room is 203. If you just follow that hallway to your right,” he said pointing “it’ll take you to the elevators.”
“Oh, and the manager told me to tell you that they were having a meeting in the conference room.” He checked his watch. “In half an hour.” The man stood up and pointed in another direction, leaning over the desk and giving Kath another good view of his cleavage. “That’s down that hall.”
Kath nodded and took hold of her suitcase.
“Thank you very much.” She marveled at how the young man didn’t seem to think that anything was odd about the way that either of them were dressed as she made his way to the elevators.
“Have a nice stay,” the man called out after her.
Fat chance of that happening, Kath thought to herself as she called the elevator.
Finally, in her room, Kath placed the suitcase on her bed and looked around. She had a few minutes before the meeting began so she wanted to take stock of herself. She went into the bathroom and switched the lights on.
She gasped when she saw herself in the mirror. This was the first proper look that she had since the change. Her once black hair was now brown and cut short in a crew cut, not too much dissimilar to what she had previously. She was currently wearing a -shirt that depicted the Avalanche logo in the middle, something which she hadn’t owned before, and loose denim jeans.
The main thing that Kath discovered about her new body was the fact that she didn’t have breasts, despite the fact that she was now a girl. She paused at that fact. How did that work? She knew that from seeing all the people being changed on the plane and the receptionist that boys now had breasts and wore bras, but Kath (after feeling herself a bit) still had a vagina.
After shaking her head, Kath decided that she’d better head downstairs and find the rest of her team.
Kath was in for a bit of a shock when she entered the conference room. The entire team had been changed! She looked around the room. Sure, she was new to the squad and so there wasn’t anyone that she recognized, but she did spot the general manager. Kath noticed in her observation that there was only one man in the room.
He was standing next to the GM, looking very nervous. Kath wasn’t surprised; with the way he was dressed, she would’ve have thought that the girls would have been all over him. Did I really just think that? Kath thought to herself, shaking her head.
The entire team looked at Kath when she stepped into the room. After a few minutes of not recognizing her, they figured that she must be one of them based on what she was wearing. Kath found an empty seat next to a girl with ginger hair and sat down.
“Right then,” the general manager, wearing a smart business suit, said standing at the front.
