I wish...

"I wish I could make you happy." I said as I felt the feeling of warmth and light wash over me as the clock finished. Looking over myself to see what had happened I could see I had not changed at all. Confused I looked over to Karyn, who's hand I was holding was clenching the stone tightly.
"What happened? It was like the stone granted a wish but nothing changed." I said, still awash with the sensations from earlier.
"But it did, I originally wished for everything to turn back at 3:00 AM, when you wished you could make me happy the thoughts running through my head at the time was being sad that you were going to turn back. I think you just made it so everything I did is permanent." Karyn said smiling
Smiling back I somehow felt I'd made the right decision, I'd made her happy and for some reason it just felt right, maybe it was a result of her wishes but at that point I didn't care. We were together, that was all that mattered to me now.
