"What did you do?" Karyn insisted again.
"Nothing different about your top half, either?" Jon asked to distract Karyn from thinking about her lower.
"Nothing except these gross oversized boobs from yesterday. What, did you make them even bigger?" Karyn asked.
"No, I just gave you a slight suntan," Jon lied. "Do you feel like going anywhere?"
"I promised I'd pick up my dad's suits from the cleaners. Do you want to drive me there?" Karyn asked.
"OK, sure," Jon replied, then the two of them headed downstairs. It was very strange to see Karyn moving forward with the leg action of someone walking backwards, but it didn't seem to bother Karyn at all. In fact, she was surprisingly good at it.
Riding in the car was even stranger. With her butt in front and her legs on backwards, she had to sit with her arms folded on the seat back and her head facing the rear window. She could turn her neck far enough to see Jon, but not far enough to see where the car was going.
Jon had to park a half a block away from the cleaners. To get out of the car, Karyn first swung her feet onto the pavement and then, facing inward, she grabbed the rain gutter, ducked her head, and pulled herself up. It was all very smooth, though, as if she'd done it that way all her life.
Between their parking spot and the cleaners was a swimsuit boutique. Jon tried talking Karyn buying a thong, or at least trying one on, but she wouldn't hear of it.
The clerk at the cleaners told Karyn that one of her dad's suits wouldn't be ready for another fifteen minutes, and tht the two friends might as well take a seat in the waiting area. This was easy for Jon, but Karyn had to drag over a straight-backed char, point the back at Jon, and then sit down facing him.
"So, it's my turn with the stone, you know," Karyn reminded Jon quietly.
"OK, but don't do anything drastic," Jon pleaded as he handed over the object.
"Nothing more drastic than a slight suntan, or twisting my bottom half around backwards, eh?" Karyn taunted him.;
"What! What makes you think that?" Jon gasped.
"Well, I know you made a change, and I seem to be the only one in town built this crazy way, and you keep staring at my legs and butt even more than you usually do," Karyn told him. "Now, would you step outside, please, while I carefully consider my wish?"
