"I can't really trust others to bring back my friends, can I?" Marla said, glancing down at her moderately swollen gut. "Let's just go it alone."
"You got it, Marla," the game said. In the corner of the room, a flat screen television flickered to life. It's static imagine crackled as it, like Marla previously, expanded rapidly in size. After a few moments the thing covered the back wall and an image began to from in the electronic snow. It gave way to a woman in a bath tub, about as young as Marla. She recognized it as Lindsey, her cousin from California.
"What's Lindsey doing there? I said I wanted to go alone," Marla questioned.

You're the only player, but you'll have to decide now if whatever change you get affects yourself or her. Just a warning, though, while you'll be able to undo any changes to yourself, Lindsey and others will not as they are not players."
Marla's blood ran cold.
"So you're saying that she'll be stuck with whatever I give her, forever?"
"Yes, indeed. Now take a roll and see what you're giving her or yourself!"
Marla, sweat forming on her brow, flicked the miniscule die with her gigantic fingers. Its tumbled about, landing up two.
"A two, eh? That's puts you on..."
