Caleb smiled, "I choose the thick skin." The gameboard flashed briefly, and as soon as it stopped, Caleb felt warm. His exposed skin appeared to look healthier. What muscle he did have was actually more defined. Aside from that, nothing else happened. "That's it?"
"It has been done" the game spoke, "Your skin is now thicker than steel."
"I'll be the judge of that!" Cindy was still mad, so she got up from her sear and went to the kitchen. She grabbed a random pan from the cabinets and rushed back. The girls and Caleb were both surprised by this. Before anyone could stop her, she swung the pan at Caleb's head. Instead of hearing the "CLANG' of the pan, she heard a shatter. The pan broke apart into pieces. Everyone stood dumbfounded, but Caleb had a smirk on his face.
"I am invincible!" He was about to sit up, but the floor beneath him creaked. The other girls silently watched. Caleb looked around, "Uh, what was that?"
"I forgot to mention" the game spoke, "Since your skin is thicker than steel, your body density is much greater. So be careful in moving fast, otherwise you'll fall right through the floorboards." Caleb's smirk just got wider. "Now Caleb" the game spoke, "You are now allowed to choose one alteration to yourself or to one of the other players. This change can be as small as eye color to as big as species change. Its your choice."
