The first thing they noticed was that the room was no longer cheerful, girly, and pink. Instead, it was dark and gothic. All the walls were painted black. The bed was black. The window curtains were black. Almost everything was black.
Megan was sitting on her bed, wearing a black leather corset, long worn black skirt, fishnets, and black knee-high lace-up boots. Her hair was now black and her complexion pale. She wore black lipstick, black eye liner, and black nail polish. Except for the black hair, she seemed very much like Karyn, but older.

Karyn realized what had happened. The stone turned everyone who was currently inside the sorority house into Goths. That included Jon.
