Suddenly, Zoe's brother appeared out of nothing. She was shocked, but intrigued.
"About time you got here," Karyn blurted out.
"Well, I had to decide what I'd do, just like you asked. I decided to not bring your sister along. I wouldn't want to explain ..." Then Jon noticed how Karyn was dressed. "Whoa. You weren't kidding."
"Stop looking me over and fix all of this."
"Okay, okay. But it's going to be difficult. You can't reverse wishes, you know."
"You didn't wish for me to be a Goth."
"You've got a point."
"Would someone like to tell me what's going on here?" Zoe interrupted. "What's all this wishing stuff? And, Jon. How did you get here? The college is at least 10 miles away."
