Karyn's eyes were also forced closed once hearing Jon's wish, 'I wish I was 21 years old'. When she opened them she found herself back in her own bedroom in front of bedroom mirror applying her make up. But things where terribly wrong.
Karyn was stunned with her reflection. She still had her blond locks and endowments as she had accidentally wished for. But she held a stick of black lip stick in her hand that she already had applied. In addition to excessive amount of black eyeliner, and dark eye shadow. Her clothes were a black corset top, not that she needed not be shoving anything else up. Covering her legs was a long black worn skirt. Under that she found her self wearing black and white striped tights and boots up to her knees with 3 inch stacks. All this not to mention the black nails, rings, bracelets and necklace.
"Oh if Jon was making wishes behind my back, I'll kill him if this was intentional." Karyn fumed as she opened her closet to find more of the same kinda out fits. Karyn knew she still had to own something normal looking, no way her mom, would let her only wear stuff like this. And searching the room she noticed something. There where no photos of her and Jon. Before she had several, but now they were gone. Only thing she thought important was a photo of her older sister with some guy with a go-T. 'Wait! That's Jon!' she thought to her self.
"Karyn you're friend is here for school!" Came her mom's voice from downstairs.
Karyn's head popped up as she grabbed her book back and ran down stairs best she could with the boots. 'Go down stairs, have Jon unwish this, and I can be back to normal' Karyn repeated to her self silently.
Karyn was greeted with yet an other surprise when she hit the bottom of the stairs. It wasn't Jon, but rather Jon's little sister, Zoe, clad in a very similar goth outfit as Karyn. But she aged the same 5 years that Jon wished for, putted her the same age as Karyn.
This is when Karyn was able to piece together things. Jon was never her friend , since he was older. He and her sister, Megan got together, and went to college. And Karyn and Jon's little sister, Zoe, became best friends, and Zoe's gothness, must have rubbed off on Karyn.
Karyn pulled Zoe out of the house fast and pulled her off the side.
"Jeeze, Karyn, what's the rush, it's only school. I was planning on missing gym first period." Zoe grumbled.
"Zoe, we're going to miss more then that. We need go see you're brother." Karyn demanded, "I don't care how."
