"I want you to turn us back to the way we were. I want to be myself again and I want you to be Sarah," Karyn was forced to say
"What?! I can't do that. I've always been Jon! Or, well...at least I think I have," Jon responded. He still couldn't believe his best friend, and the girl he'd sort of had a crush on for years, was actually a guy; much less that he was actually Sarah McMillan, who he remembered for being Karyn's worst enemy. He'd never imagined that his wish could have resulted in all this. Even if what Karyn said was true, he almost wished he'd never found out.
"I'm sorry Jon, I know you remember always being this way, but you really were my girlfriend. This is all just an illusion created by the stone. If you could remember you'd want to return to normal too."
"But even if none of it's real, I remember being like this, and I don't want to be Sarah. Wishing things back to what you think is normal would be like committing suicide!"
Jon could clearly see "Karyn" getting upset. He could tell she was genuinely sorry about all this, but she really wanted to get things back to what she considered reality. There wasn't going to be an easy solution to this...
