After Karyn and Zoe ripped away the paper door, they walked inside the bedroom and saw Jon standing at the furthest side of the room.
"Can't we talk about this?" he asked his sister.
"There's nothing to talk about. Don't worry, Jon. You'll make a great Goth. I know it. Just look at Karyn."
Jon looked at Karyn. He felt so sorry for her. Even though she didn't know it, she was far from normal. He had to change her back, but without the stone, that seemed impossible.
Unless, of course, he was able to grab the salt shaker away from Zoe. But how could he do it without risking being changed by her?
"I don't want to be a Goth, Zoe," Jon said.
"Enough talk," she said, moving closer towards him.
