Nicole and Allison walked up next to Jon and grabbed him, pulling him away with them. Once they were alone, the shouting began.
"Whatever you did to Sarah, you're gonna fix it! Now!" Nicole yelled.
"I told you. I didn't do that. Karyn did," Jon said.
"Yeah, but you said you did it to Karyn first. Then she took that love potion or whatever it is and used it on Sarah," Allison said. "So you're still responsible."
Jon had to admit. Allison was a lot smarter than she looked. And yes, she was right. Ultimately, it was his fault that Sarah was affected by the love potion, but he never intended on things to get so out of hand.
"Is that it? What made Sarah act like that?" Nicole asked, looking at the small vial in Jon's hand.
"Uh ... yeah. But it's okay. Sarah will be fine. The effects only last a day."
"Sure, but before that day is over, she'll end up doing god knows what," Nicole said. She paused, then said "Give it to me."
"What?"
"The vial. Give it to me."
"Um ... I think it would be better if ... hey!" Jon yelled, after Allison took it out of his hand. She then handed it to Nicole. "What are you going to do with that?"
"Use it. We need to get Sarah out of security custody. We need every edge. Now, how does it work?"
"Well, you only need to swallow one drop ..." Jon began, then suddenly shut up. What was he doing? These were the last people he wanted using the potion.
"One drop, huh?" Nicole said. "What else?"
"I'm not telling you anything. I won't help you," he said.
"Is that so?" Nicole asked, grinning. She opened the vial and placed one drop of the substance on her finger. "Allison, grab hold of him."
Jon's eyes went wide. "What are you going to do?" he asked. Although, really, he knew exactly what they were going to do. They were going to use the potion ... on him! He'd go along with whatever they wanted, because he'd be in love with one of them and would do whatever they said, anything to please them.
He couldn't let that happen!
