"Listen, Karyn. I have to tell you something. It's important."
She sighed. "What is it, Jon?"
"I sort of added something to your hot dog."
"Added something? What are you talking about?"
"It's this." He took the Love Potion vial out of his pocket and showed it to her. "It's a love potion. That's why you're in love with Sarah."
"What? You ... you used a love potion on me?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry, Karyn. I didn't know this would happen. At least it'll ..." He was about to finish with 'only last another 24 hours', but Karyn grabbed the vial out of his hand and ran away with it.
"Wait! Karyn!" he yelled after her. He knew what she was going to do. She was gonna give the potion to Sarah and make her fall in love with her.
When Jon chased after her, however, Karyn disappeared into the crowd of people. He had lost her.
