Jon's first class was Literature with Mrs. Avery, a fairly attractive woman in her mid-thirties.
She glanced up at Jon from her desk.
"I'm sorry I'm late, Mrs. Avery. I, um ... got caught up."
Jon heard a boy named Zach Jones say "Yeah, kissing Sarah McMillan. Yuck. I can't believe she actually let you do that. And to think, I had sex with her just last week." He laughed, and his friends joined in.
"Zach, please. We'll have none of that." Then to Jon she said "Just take your seat, Jon." And he took his seat.
He felt around in his pouch, pulled out a ring and put it on.
"It's so distasteful what kids do today," Zach said suddenly. "Jon, you should be ashamed of yourself. Sarah is a very pretty young lady, and you were taking advantage of her. Shame on you."
Zach's attitude was completely different. Jon looked down to see which ring he wore. It was the white one: Prudish.
